Established in 2018, Transplant Staffing Resources provides temporary or long-term staffing solutions for OPOs and transplant centers across the U.S. We understand the critical needs of staffing shortages and have a highly experienced team of professionals to fill in your employment gaps.
Our team of over 175 contract employees are deeply committed to providing the highest quality staffing resources to the clients we proudly serve. We empower individuals through meaningful work that leads to fuller lives and stronger organizations. MEET OUR TEAM
JEFFERSON HARE, FOUNDER AND CEO
Jeff Hare, Founder and CEO of Transplant Staffing Resources, is committed to honoring donor heroes and their lifesaving gifts to address the national transplant waiting list and save more lives. In addition to his leadership at Transplant Staffing Resources, Jeff is the co-founder and CEO of Organ Perfusion and Cellular Services, which specializes in providing turn-key organ perfusion services to transplant centers and OPOs. His extensive background in the donation and transplantation field includes service to two OPOs, Indiana Donor Network and Gift of Life Michigan. His inspiration behind Transplant Staffing Resources can be traced back to his service to these organizations as well as the 21 OPO’s that Jeff has personally traveled to and helping make donation happen. Previously, Jeff was a firefighter and U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman, which makes Transplant Staffing Resources a proud veteran-owned company. Jeff is passionate about organ donation and transplantation. His mission is to give every individual/family the opportunity to donate and honor every lifesaving gift of life.
HEIDI HARE, CFO AND HR DIRECTOR
Heidi is a registered nurse with over 25 years of experience in healthcare, having worked in a variety of settings including home health, prison nursing, dermatology and oncology. Her journey into the transplant field was unexpected, but after witnessing the dedication and impact of Jeff’s work in the transplant community, she felt a deep calling to get involved. Initially helping Transplant Staffing Resources (TSR) on a temporary basis, Heidi quickly became inspired by the incredible team and their unwavering commitment to the life-changing mission of organ donation. The passion she saw in their work fueled her desire to contribute more, leading her to transition into a full-time role as Chief Financial Officer/HR. Heidi is driven by the opportunity to support the gift of life and help uplift the transplant community. Outside of work, she enjoys birdwatching, gardening, and cheering on her two active boys in their sports.
KRISTY BURGESS, RN, ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR
With 23 years of nursing experience, Kristy Burgess has dedicated her career to providing exceptional care to patients in both postpartum and preoperative surgery settings. A proud graduate of Grand Valley State University, she has developed a passion for helping others throughout her nursing journey. Answering the call to help in the transplant industry, Kristy transitioned into an administrative role where she continues to thrive. She finds immense satisfaction in supporting the transplant community and utilizing her skills in a new and meaningful way. Outside of her professional life, Kristy is an avid sports fan who loves watching football and basketball. A true Disney enthusiast, she cherishes time spent at Disney World. As a mom, Kristy is also proud of her two children – one in college and one in high school – and enjoys balancing her busy career with family life. Kristy is excited to continue making a difference in the healthcare industry while supporting her family and passions.
